I know you all do it. You involuntarily whip out that air guitar and go nuts. No two live versions are the same.
Even the shittier versions with Jack Irons rocked my socks. Don't even get my started with Dave and especially Matt...whhooaa baby.
Even the air drums is fun to play along with.
I am so thankful they play this at every single show.

dont get me wrong, i like evenflow, i even used to love it, it was the song that got me into pearl jam way back in the day when it was a buzz clip on MTV, but i am tired of it, i dont listen to it unless it comes on the radio or im listening to a bootleg. i almost had the best concert moment this past year durring the first camden show ( i think it was the first ) when they didnt play it till the 2nd encore, i thought i was gonna get a break from it.
i dont hate the song at all, but its taking up a spot in the shows for a possible song i havent heard before.

Before my first show I said to myself, "I hope they dont play Even Flow, Id rather hear something else," but when it started I went nuts. The energy flowing through the crowd was amazing. Now Ive only seen them 3 times and that was the only time they played it so it ended up being pretty special. I can still remember it. Good times.

^^
I fell in love with PJ when I was in elementary school when Ten came out and Even Flow was the song that my stepdad loved and it grew on me and became my favorite song. Being very young it was my favorite song for a long time. When Vs. came out I loved it because I felt it was the same. Vitalogy was too different for me (I was still very young). Even Flow is something special for me and Ill always love it.

I would hate to be at a show where it wasn't played, i never listen to the studio version anymore, but live the vibe and energy from the crowd when it starts is just amazing it picks the show up and kicks it around (any shows ive been at)

I haven't really enjoyed it live for the past few years. The drum solo addition was nice but they play it so fast and I just don't get the feeling from it.
