i saw them open for interpol a couple years ago and it was quite good - sort of spacey, sonic youth type stuff. I hadn't ever heard of them before and was rather surprised.

They have quite a few good songs. I'd definitely go see them.

Just saw these guys in a small club setting here in Buenos Aires and they pretty much blew me away-- I'd seen them before, many years ago, but this show was something else. Kazu Makino isn't a human being, she's a fountain of music in the shape of a tiny Asian girl. The show was tight, powerful and ethereal. Their songs are high drama, played urgently and feverishly. Highly recommended.
