so i was driving home yesterday blasting the singles soundtrack and i came to a realization that actually surprised me.
Every time i listen to this album, i listen to at least these 3 songs within the first three, then start the cd and listen to it all the way through:
breathe
birth ritual
drown

it occurred to me, that even though i bought this cd when it first came out and have listened to it countless number of times....I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE LYRICS TO BIRTH RITUAL ARE. I don't want to google the lyrics and figure it out, because that would ruin the fun, but i listened to that song repeatedly that day, and 90% of the song, i have absolutely no fucking clue what the hell chris is singing. so having never actually researched the lyrics, am i the only one that doesn't know/can't tell what the lyrics are?
i thinks it's something about lying like needles and a cigarette burning and a riiittttuuuAAAALLLLL. but that's about it. not actually asking for the lyrics, as i know i could easily find them, but did anyone else at least have a problem figuring them out? or am i just a friggin idiot?

I don't know most of the lyrics to that one. It's not exactly easy to make out what the hell Chris is on about.

that was one of the few times i bought an album for one song - i totally forgot that i own some soundgarden
