I've never had an encounter with a ghost so I can't say I believe in them...that may change though. Ghosts are cool.

I've had friends with photos they've taken with unexplainable figures appearing in mirrors or the like. I've never fully bought into the ghost theory, but it was sure hard to explain what the hell was in their pictures.

Just as I can't say there aren't any aliens, I can't say there aren't any ghosts. It seems possible I'm sure to many religious people, since they already can have those leaps of faith on other levels.

The religious people i know (family included) can't quite come to terms with the possibility of ghosts....it doesn't go along with their beliefs.
I remember when I first read about String Theory I considered that perhaps lapses in the spaces between two alternate realities might cause such an assumed event, but it doesn't hold up. Turns out that, when I thought that, I knew jack fucking shit about the theory. I doubt ghosts are real, except during those times when I'm all alone and freaked out.

I believe in ghosts.
Check out this picture. Look in the upper left corner. If you don't see it immediately, keep looking. The first time I saw this, I had to stare at it for about 30 seconds, but then I saw it.

Prove that it is not there.
Exactly.
It's not falsifiable, so no one can disprove it.
Personally I do not believe in ghosts. We've had plenty of time, as a species, to prove they are real. It just doesn't make any sense as a theory, I know there are plenty of things we don't understand but the existence of a 'ghost' is just impossible imo.
