This is probably some of the more interesting lyrics I've written. Then again maybe not actually. This was a little more than a year ago now. Every once in awhile I feel like sharing something here to people who don't know me as well.

This modern love
Oh, can’t find a woman
Can’t find a man
Love
I’d like to buy it
I’d like to buy it
Just to horde it all
Save everyone
From a big fall

This modern world
Oh, can’t find peace
Can’t find a reason
Bombs
I’d like to buy them all
Buy them all
Stop, stop
The power hungry call

Oh, love, bombs
It’s gonna hurt now
Bombs and love
Don’t you wonder how?
Co-exist, free a dove
Hardly makes us evolved
Grow a thumb
Ability now to push a button
Hitch a ride
From the one by your side

Love and bombs
I’d like to buy it
I’d like to buy it
Just to horde it all
Save everyone
From a big fall

8) Glad you like it. Yeah, I was going through quite a tough time when I wrote that. I wasn't seeing much hope except for the hope from my intentions.

It is amazing how our best work, whatever it may be, comes out when we are in some kind of pain isn't it? :o That's good and bad at the same time.

i know how you feel about this.

either way, its good that you channeled those feelings into this, i think its beautiful. for some reason, i pictured chan marshall singing it.

Thanks a lot, Ryu. :) Chan Marshall? That's not bad at all.

i like the whole thing, but this part sticks out on my second read. and i love the interplay between the love/ bombs. and how the verses maintain their patterns as they build around the two themes.

I like it Kelly. Although around here you could probably buy all the "love" you want with the right amount of money.

Thanks Nick. :)

Yeah, I guess so. Although I can't buy the love I want, and if I could it is obviously only "love" as you said.
