Yes to GNR, Madonna, Metallica, Radiohead, Green day, Beastie Boys, NIN
No on bjork, beck, chili peppers, white stripes, motley crue, alanis morrisette and Oasis

I find the R&R Hall to be an absolute joke...but for shits I did the poll anyway.
For yes, I voted in green day, pj, oasis, radiohead, alanis, joan jett.
I voted for no hip hop artists because I beleive they should have their own Hall of Fame. that genre has been around long enough and have had plenty of world wide success to start thier own thing and focus on the recognition they deserve.
none of the other bands have no real reason to be in the hall. that being said, metallica, NIN, GnR, and the Crue will probably be voted in..because like said above, the rock and roll hall of fame is a joke.

Metallica have sold over 100 million albums. 60 in the USA alone. I think that alone should be enough to induct them.

The Ride the lighting---puppets---and justice....---black album run should probably get factored in there too
They are a no brainer. I think I'd pick them over every other artist they profiled in that section except for Madonna (including PJ)

The idea of a "Hall Of Fame" for Rock n' Roll completely misses the point of what rock is about.
The best rock should be able tearing up past traditions, ripping it up and starting again. Pissing on the records of your parents. Saying "fuck you!".
I say "fuck you!" to Halls Of Fame. I hope like hell Pearl Jam never gets put in one. Of course they probably will, but hell, I guess even the Sex Pistols and Ramones are in there too.
All it does it reduce rock n' roll to bite sized chunks to be appreciated by suburban Mum's & Dad's.
