He's a sick, clearly mentally disturbed individual who (unfortunately for the people around him) has served his sentence and paid his debt to society. I don't really understand what purpose is served by showing up at his house and antagonizing him - besides boosting ratings, of course.
If the reporter's goal was really to help the victims then his time would be better spent talking to the lawmakers and trying to find out why the sex offender registry wasn't made retroactive.
