Lucky little fucker. On my 14th birthday all I got was a card with 20 bucks in it, and he gets to jam with Ed.

from ny post:

WHEN your parents are Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins, you get first dibs on the jam sessions with Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam. Saturday night, the celeb couple's son, Miles Robbins, 14, played with his band, the Tangents, at Bar East, on First Avenue and 90th Street. Vedder came as a guest of Sarandon and Robbins, and "Eddie jumped onstage and joined the band for a couple of songs, including a hot cover of 'Watchtower,' " said our spy. "Tim was directing traffic, and the place was full of teenagers who were invited by the Robbins family."

i live on 79 and 3 people.

Now, if they are true PJ fans like most of "us" There has got to be at least one PJ song in the bands setlist.

Can you imagine singing "enter any PJ song here" in front of ED!!!

As I am thinking/daydreaming about this....I would not let the opportunity go by with out playing "Porch" with or without Ed.

I can see me now say "This next one goes out to my good friend Eddie and I just wanna say 1,2,3.....WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS WORLD....!!!!!"

With him there I would be so fired up that I would Rock the song....or go completely blank and pee my pants, probably the later.

Is there any way to find out if they played a PJ song?

Helou!

A story that tops this one came to my mind, I think it's from Dennis Rodman's autobiography:

Eddie Vedder and Rodman are relaxing in a small bar in Hawaiji, a young band in a bar is playing rock covers and they start playing 'Go'. Eddie stands up, walks on to stage, gets the mic and starts singing the song with the shocked band.

That must have been jaw-dropping for both the band and the people in the bar..! Damn.
