W000t!!!!! Thanks! Now its time to edit that RITFW down
Nevermind. That one sounds better than the DVD audio rip somehow. The DVD audio sounds a bit hollow and tinny. Since I don't know enough about mixing, I'll leave this one alone. Maybe someone else can figure it out. The only thing we miss is Ed's "its a beautiful day". At any rate this is a massive upgrade
FYI, audio doesn't cut out at 6:54.
Edit: Its up now over on the pink pig

This is sourced from a promo DVD given away by the Herald Sun in
Australia. There was no PCM stream on the DVD, so I ripped the AC3
stream to a 44.1khz 16-bit 2ch stereo .wav file. I loaded the .wav
up in Sound Forge where I manually removed some clicks, faded in/out,
and brightened it up a bit.

Let me know what you guys think.
I edited the crap at the beginning and end of the AC3 FLAC while waiting on the other to download. But I think the U2 bootleg audio is "fuller". If an expert wants to remix it, the DVD audio may have the potential to sound better.

Nice. I'll be grabbing this tonight.

Did you take a listen to the version I uploaded?
Yes. Just did. I did the fades similarly. I actually thought the AC3 was too bright already. That was part of the problem. Thanks anyways.
A lot of jammers are divided in their preference for bono anyways so i dont think people will care enough to remix this.

I'm really really late to this, but does anybody still have these? I just bought the 2006 "Holiday Ten Club" vinyl and I really would like to have these in digital format too (& the longer version with the piano intro). Could somebody do me a HUGE favor and upload these once more? Million thanks!

Oh, and this too, anybody still have it? My HUGE THANKS for uploading it again. Please.

No one still have these (the "Radio Promo CDR" version and the 2 different "Rockin' In The Free World" versions in flac)? Or just doesn't care to post them? Please, I'm begging. I'll try to fulfill any request of trading for these. Thanks.
