Hey guys,
You'll be totally skeptical on this because it's my first post. But something happened to me a little over a week ago that I just realized I should tell you guys about (I used to be in here all the time).
I could go into the details (just moved to Seattle, etc.) but what I'm getting at is:
I. fucking. met. Mike. McCready.
It was mind-blowing. He was just walking his two boston terriers down Pine St. on Capitol Hill! He's the coolest man on earth. The guy hung up his cell and talked to me for like 5 minutes. The scoop was I guess he just recorded some demos with Matt recently, and apparently Eddie is doing the tunes for a new Sean Penn film in the near future. He'll be playing a Crohn's show @ the Showbox soon (May?), and (obvi) the band will be touring Europe.
So rad. Guy's a walking legend.
If you want anymore details just message me or something. And don't freaking stake out on Pine looking for the guy. That would be hella lame.
Cheers,
Neels

Welcome to the board.
Expect to catch some shit from the peanut gallery though. Not because people won't believe you, but because they will but not find it all that remarkable.
Cool to hear about the demos and the Sean Penn film. I think that may be a scoop.

I have never met any of them but I've always pictured Mike being the friendliest.

I've always imagined Mike or Matt being the easiest to talk to. I have always imagined Stone as the geek who wants to talk your ear off about something random.
