So last week I cleared out everything I had on my iPod. Every single song I had been listening to for the last 2 years. I decided that jsut listening to heavy metal and the mountain goats everytime I walked somewhere was getting boring, so I proposed myself a change. SOme people do this shit for lent, bu I don't think I timed it right.
Anyways, I loaded it up with a bunch of albums I downloaded solely of artists I had never listened to before (or listened to so little that I was completely unfamiliar). It is a lot of fun. So far I've found out that Sleep Terror is awesome, and Ephel Duath kind of sucks. Sebadoh is not too bad but no one song has made me go "holy shit that is amazing must listen 100x"

Mowbs- I haven't heard too many Dr. O tracks (just 2 or so) and they were good enough, but nothing that made me jump up and go "Damn." I'll give it more of a chance before I ditch it, though

edit: It is not so much an issue of willpower as it is one of the fun of total immersion
