Hey! If Michigan wanted an NIT champion coach they could have...Tommy Amaker! But no! For millions more they can have this boob! Yay! Yay for mediocrity!

Yeah, I'm trying to figure out what about this guy's pedigree that Michigan found particularly attractive.

Didn't WVU make it to like 3-4 straight Sweet 16s?

*sigh*
Beilein's a great coach you guys and I will miss him dearly. Calling him an "NIT coach" is a joke. Are you forgetting the Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight teams he led? And how about taking a squad w/ one returning starter that was projected to finish 12th in conference, but finished 7th, won the NIT, and racked up 27 wins. This all in a "rebuilding year". And let's not forget he did all of this w/ "average recruits". Think of what he can do w/ the type of talent that rolls in Michigan. Oh but let's compare him to Tommy Amaker who couldn't get his team into one NCAA Tourney in his six year tenure. WVU is not a basketball school and hasn't been one since the 50's, but he actually made us worth a shit again. I'm sad to see him go and I wish him well in Michigan.
