So, I came across this idea on another board and thought it'd be fun to do here.

Here's how it will work: We need one person to represent 2 NFL teams. That person will make his team's picks in the same draft order as this month's draft. For example, if I chose the Team A, I would make their picks when it came to be my turn.

I'd like to keep this going until at least the end of round 1, and longer if people participating remain interested. I'd like to have someone representing each team by tomorrow or thursday, then we can start the draft on friday.

If your favorite team is taken, please don't hesitate to choose another as long as you will act in good faith with the team's picks.

Trades will be allowed, and must be approved by either me or GH. Here is a link to the draft trade value chart: http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/features/valuechart.html.

The clock will last 24 hours for the first round and 12 hours for subsequent rounds. We may speed it up if things go too slowly. From here on out, the community will make your pick if you run out of time.

If you're going to be gone over an extended period of time (say, the weekend) and you're going to be on the clock soon, PM Mitchell or GH some of the players you'd be interested in.

I'll update this header post with users that have signed up and the teams they chose.

time to begin! For the first round each person will have 24 hrs to make their pick. Obviously, we hope it goes faster than that, but we can't be skipping people left and right. Please construct a short write-up explaining the pick when you make it.

TRADES:
======
--Redskins trade 1st (#6) to Patriots for 1st (#28 ) and DB Asante Samuel
--Steelers trade 1st (#15) to Titans for 1st (#19) and 3rd (#80)
--Bengals trade 1st (#18 ) to Giants for 1st (#20) and 3rd (#81)
--Steelers trade 1st (#19) and 3rd (#80) to Chiefs for 1st (#23), 2nd (#54), and 5th (#160)
--Jets trade 1st (#25) to Saints for 1st (#27) and 4th (#125)

Also, I have a feeling that we won't be able to get 32 people to do this, but hopefully we can get 16 with each person taking two teams. What do you think, Mitchell?

In that case, I'll take the Patriots and will be drafting Burt Reynolds and packaging him and Tom Brady in a deal with the Lions for Matt Millen.
