This is the new cd from this group(one person maybe?) and it is an amazing blend of classically styled music and electronic beats/blips. WEG did a split with Mono that i'm sure alot of people know. It's in the same vein as Venetian Snares - Rossz Csillag Allat Szuletett except not nearly as frantic. It's an amazing new cd and one of my favourites of the year so far.

On a side note...Give me a rundown of Amon Tobin! I have half the new one, and Supermodified. Any recommendations of his and why?

I recommend you snatch the rest of Foley Room. It's incredible! If you have heard half the songs on it you literally have only heard half of what he is capable of, every song is unique down to the instrumentation, effects, and arrangement.

As for his other music, Bricolage is a personal favorite of mine. Though I have all of his albums in some form or another, and they are all good. Bricolage came out in 97, and for some reason all of the big IDM people released their best stuff right around mid-lateish 90s.

I really love the style of these sorts of albums...Amon Tobin, World's End Girlfriend, Venetian Snares - Classical cd, Aphex Twin (4, especially), Xploding Plastix. I think it's the combination of the real instruments and the wicked beats/atmosphere. I'm not a huge fan of the balls to the wall techno, industrial etc.
