Would it be possible to have something sticked to talk about bands that don't last in a thread on it's own. They just get buried in the forums. I know there are a few people here would may appreciate some of the stuff folks recommend but don't see because it is buried four pages down.

this seems like a good idea - some kind of recommendation/what you're listening to right now sticky would be nice, especially for those who don't log on regularly...

find the most tenuous connection to chris cornell such as the singer wearing von dutch clothes or blowing a lot of high notes to suck people in then just go with it

My desperation play was to make up that the most unknown person in either Arcade Fire, Kings of Leon, Bob Dylan's backup, or Rolling Stones is involved in every new band that I find.

I used to have that problem. My threads about a certain band always died really fast. So I just gave up on making threads about X band. Now I try to make threads encompassing a genre or time period or something and they tend to do pretty well.

i'm with you. my threads are usually ignored but i believe there must be someone interested in the bands i reccomend.
it's really boring to see always threads of Cornel, Dylan, Springteen, Arcade fire and BRMC.
