I have the 05 tour in mp3, and burining the ottawa show noticed there's a two sec pause at the end of each song. I'm using Nero 7.0, and was wondering if there is a way to get rid of those two seconds of silence. (I've been using the no gap between songs box, so it isn't the transition between songs, just the end of the song/file) Thanks.

Sounds like you got mp3's that had been previously burned to CD by an idiot who added the two second gaps, and then ripped back from the CD to mp3.

I'd throw them all away and start over. Your quality at this point has got to be for shit.

Even so, there will still be a 1/2 second gap when playing an mp3-sourced audio CD.
It is not possible to remove.

Find the FLAC version.

I went back to the datat dvd and checked the files. None that I played had the 2 second pause at the end. The tracks flow with just that brief blip between them. Apparently I added the 2 seconds somehow. I burned them using another program and they sound much better. Musn't have been paying attention when I used Nero...

Thanks to all.

Thanks to all.

Nero automatically puts the 2 second gap. You have to choose to put a 0 gap. It's the most annoying thing about an otherwise excellent program. It's easy to mess it up. You'd said you had not inserted the gaps with Nero, so I assumed the gaps were already there.

I've asked before, but does anyone know how to make 0 gap be the default on Nero? I've been using this program since about 1998, and I've NEVER been able to figure out how to do it. :x
