I'm a little surprised people actually expect anything good from Corgan. And i can't imagine why the other members of the Smashing Pumpkins would ever want to be around him again.

I wish this would stop being called a reunion. When half the band doesn't come back, it's not a reunion.

But this kind of makes my hopes brighten up a bit, better two have two no namers than it becoming some kind of big Zwan supergroup wankfest.

But Zwan was good.

Anyway, I'll say it again, for like the billionth time :?

The most important thing is that Billy feels comfortable and if he has to bring back the Smashing Pumpkins to do that, more power to him. If he is in his element there is a good chance we will get an incredible album.

I definitely agree with you in that this has much better chances of being a good album than The Future Embrace, if only for the Pumpkins label alone.

why dont we all admit that for 80% of the time it was all billy making the music anyway.
as long as he doesnt parade the new members around in the spotlight (which knowing his issues with control, he wont) I dont care, just as long as he stops fucking aorund with techno.
