Greetings everyone, it is I, the Consultant.

I was reflecting the other day over drinks at the local burlesque house that it has been almost a year now since Pearl Jam came out, I have been with my 5th wife, and I have posted on this great forum.

I often compare the album Pearl Jam to my 5th wife. It was really good to start out with, it was played hard and quite often, but got quite boring after 3 days.

What are your thoughts on this last album almost a year after it came out? I often find myself humming a tune from the album while I am being driven home from work in the back of my limo. The girls that are with me have no idea what I am humming. Is this album going to become forgotten like all of my wives? Or, will it's memory induce happy memories and will be appreciated in a number of years; perhaps after the next Pearl Jam album is out?

What are your thoughts 1 year later? Do you still listen to Pearl Jam?

Yes, I still listen.

Good record, hopefully a sign of greater things to come, still much better than Riot Act.

Avocado makes me optimistic about the future - I want Pearl Jam's Physical Graffiti, their White Album - a sprawling double album masterpiece.

I think they have it in them.

Still as bad as it was the day it was released! Nope. I only listen to Parachutes, and maybe Severed Hand.

Marker in the sand is still the best song on S/T.

Gone still sucks.

But I listen mostly to the '06 shows, not the album

Comatose, Marker, Severed Hand, Unemployable and Gone are all on my top rated list on my iPod. I disliked Life Wasted at first, then it grew on me once the album came out, and now it's take-it-or-leave it. I still say one of the above five songs shoulda been the second single.

Winnipeg rocks, btw.

I still frickin' love the album. WWS, Comatose, Severed Hand, Big Wave, Wasted Reprise, Army Reserve, Come Back, and Inside Job are still in regular rotation on my ipod and cd player.

I think it's one of their strongest albums for sure. Up there with Vitalogy, Binaural and Riot Act as my favourites.

parachutes=great great song.
life wasted is great to rock out to if i'm in that mood(like yesterday). so are the next 3 songs. Unemployable, Army Reserve, and Come Back=wow. Inside Job was but I think maybe I wore it out when it came out.

I still listen to it on a semi-regular basis. More often than any other pj album.

I listened to it in its entirety yesterday and came to the conclusion that it is a very good album.
