The Soulsavers (Ian Glover & Rich Machin) new album is called "It's Not How Far You Fall, It's The Way You Land". Mark Lanegan provides vocals on 8 of the albums 11 tracks. The album is described as a mix of hip-hop, rock, country, soul & gospel. Recorded 2005/06 the record is due out March 2007. Check out their MySpace page for an exclusive preview of 3 songs off the album including a new version of Lanegan's "Kingdoms of Rain" (from 1994's Whisky for the Holy Ghost) http://www.myspace.com/soulsavers.
THIS ALBUM IS AMAZING!!

in some ways this is even better than a new solo lanegan album since there's so many different styles that he's never really done before.

the first two songs (revival and ghost sof you and me) are awesome. The background vocals are really haunting and ghosts is just a real badass tune. The rest of the album is a bit lackluster though (the kindgdoms of rain cover is nice though-I may like it more than the original)
still, not as good as the isobelle campbell project

yup--rerecorded, although it isn't substantially different. Lanegan's vocals might be a bit stronger on this one.
