I'm trying to post an AVI file that's like a minute and a half on You Tube but the file is too large. How can I downsize it?

doesn't youtube have a 100mb limit? surely a 90 second avi is not more than that.

Exactly. I've UL'd a bunch of vids to Youtube and even if you're not a "director" the limits are any video that's not more than 10 minutes long or 100mb big. Even if it's incredibly hi-rez I can't imagine an .AVI file being only about 90 seconds long would equal out to larger than 100mb.

But if it really is a worry, in my experience if you convert an .AVI into a .WMV file you'll shrink the file size considerably. And yea yea, I know there's a lot of hatred online by videophiles for .WMV, but I'm telling ya I've done it several times, and in switching between the two I don't really notice hardly any video quality sacrificed at all.
I use River Past's Video Cleaner to do the conversion.

yeah i know, the video is only ninety seconds, i have no clue why the file size is so large. Thanks for the help!
