Does anyone else know this kick-ass song by ex-New York Dolls guitarist Mr. Thunders? Great, great tune. His solo stuff is quite good considering the amount of drugs he was on. Definitely worth checking out.

Even though I'm a pretty big New York Dolls fan, I've never checked out any of his solo stuff. Is his stuff similar to what he did with the Dolls?
Yes and no. It has some balls to the wall rockers, but he also plays some acoustic numbers that are really quite pretty. A lot of it is pop-punk, more accessible than the Dolls, but still good.
I personally never cared for the Dolsl at that much, but prefer Thunders' solo work. That probably has a lot to do with David Johansenn's voice.
