Isn't there a single news outlet in America that even pretends to be unbiased?

BUT, to be "fair" and "balanced", lil' miss Judy is using her time to comment on the inauguration to talk about soldiers have to use "scrap metal" to protect themselves.

Big lie. Big, big lie.

Both sides are still fucked.

EDIT: Wait. Where's the "meltdown"?

Really? I could have swore I saw a story on Reserve Units in Iraq bolting on scrap metal plates to their hum-vees. I guess they could have just made the story up and used some actors or something...what do I know?
I would think 45M could buy alot of armor for these vehicles.

what hes sayin, im assuming, is the lady was on there to go on about the inaugural party, and instead used it to discuss the armory issues (while fair issues and need to be resolved, she lied about her intentions)

and i agree, wheres the meltdown?

Did they have any video of this?

Caged Saddam To Be Highlight Of Inaugural Ball
WASHINGTON, DC—Attendees at the Independence Ball, one of nine officially sanctioned galas celebrating President George W. Bush's second inauguration Thursday, will be treated to a viewing of a caged Saddam Hussein, White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan said Monday. "What better way to honor the president than with a physical symbol of his many first-term triumphs?" McClellan said as Hussein rattled the bars of a cage already suspended above the ballroom where the event will be held. "And I must compliment the planning committee. Outfitting Gitmo detainees with iron collars and forcing them to serve appetizers was an inspired stroke." Ball attendees will also be awarded door prizes, including a basket of nuts, 20 yards of cloth, and a barrel of crude oil

They better hope Saddam doesn't start hucking his feces at them.

If that's for real, Bush and his minions are even sicker than I thought. What does it say about a person when seeing a person in a cage becomes a party favor. No matter who it is in the cage.

The woman was absolutly right. It's absolutly DISGUSTING to waste $40,000,000 on a PARTY while telling the soldiers we can't afford to protect them.

It wasn't privatly funded. 11 million came out of HOMELAND SECURITY, and DC residents are pissed because they're picking up a HUGE part of the tab with their TAXES.

This fucking asshole spent 40 million dollars when the troops don't have everything they need to "spread liberty" in Iraq?
