ok this is real early but i'm really ready for baseball, why i dont know the royals will probably suck this year but their young, and plus 05 means no steroids.
anyway i thought i'd get an early start by predicting the royals to surprise me and everyone else and win it all to mark the 20th anniversary of the 85 world series. :D

This seems wildly optomistic to me.

We all know that the Phillies will win 110 games this year, Jim Thome will hit 74 home runs, Kenny Lofton will be a 40/40 guy, Jon Lieber will win 20 games, and the Phils will not drop one game in the playoffs

I mean, this is just common knowledge these days

i cancelled my phillies season tickets this year. they reduced payroll but raised ticket prices, one year after they raised them after moving into the new park.

i'm damn excited to catch a game in pac bell this year, though.

Oh I will, in hopes that the Sox can snatch up Ben Sheets before the evil empire geets their claws in him!

They'll never compete for a World Series, but at least they're in shape to be a .500 team. Hell, last July they were even 7 or 8 games over .500. Then they collapsed in the second half.

My Dodgers, well, the collection of shit that now make up the dodgers roster, are going to suck ass this year. I hope they lose 100 games and Paul Depodesta and Frank Mccourt can go fuck themselves.

Those 2 have completely ruined baseball for me. I wish I could skip this year entirely and see what 2006 brings :(

sadly the Dodgers are now EXACTLY like the royals. We have so many cant miss prospects in the minors that will eventually become stars and therefore McCourt wont be able to afford to pay them so he will trade them away...

this is exactly why baseball needs a salary cap!
