I'm not even a Brewers fan, but being from Wisconsin I feel obligated to make a thread about them.

21-10 so far...who would have thunk it?

I thought they'd be good this year, but not this good. I don't think it will last. I see them finishing above .500 but they can't keep up this pace. Then again, no one thought Detroit could keep up the pace last year so who knows.

They were a sexy darkhorse pick last year, so they're really not that surprising, especially not in the NL Central. Thye've got a good young core, the only question is whether or not Doug Melvin can make the right moves to take advantage of the opportunity he has.

The NL Central is so bad they might pull if off. I mean serious, what competition do they have? The Cubs? :?

Well, yeah. There's absolutely no reason for the Cubs not to win that division. Not put together very well, but way too much talent in that lineup compared to the rest of the division.

This thread needs a lot more of one of the best logos in sports history.

I like thier staff, Capuano is a good pitcher and it seems like Cordero is really pitching well with 13 saves so they are winning the close ones.

Bill Hall moves out to center to be a team player and it's just a decent group of talented players like Prince Fielder getting toegther and playing well as opposed to say the Cardinals who seem to be shooting themselves in the foot, how many new leadoff men have they tried recently?

If Ben Sheets can get and stay healthy and they can just go out and win one series at a time....I think they've got something.

I'm embarrassed to say that when I was growing up, it took me longer than it should have to realize the old logo is made up of an "m" and a "b".

oh, and Prince is one of my favorite non-Yankees in MLB.

my knuckles are in pretty bad shape from knocking on so much wood lately, and this team will cool off some, but they sure look like a ball club that has what it takes for the long run - barring significant injuries.

ouch ouch.

The Brewers haven't won a series all year long against a team with a .500 or greater winning percentage. Their schedule gets exponentially tougher after their series against the AAA team from DC.
