To summarize: The US has had troops doing recon in Iran for some time now. These are, for the most part, not CIA or intelligence gathering agencies, but US soldiers. By considering it an extension of the War in Iraq/On Terror, the administration has effectively sidestepped seeking Congressional approval.

How does Seymour Hersh manage to keep getting material like this? Other investigative journalists, if their lucky, manage one or two pieces like this in a whole career, but Hersh, this stuff is like chops and potatoes to him.

As for the Post, it's so obvious that it's just him being bitter. As big as the Post is, this guy from a magazine just keeps pulling in these big stories. That's just not on.
