I found my brother's Creed cd while cleaning up today, and I tried to break it in half with my hands (for obvious reasons). To my surprise, it was very resilient.
So I put in it a vice, figuring it would just snap.
It didn't fucking budge.
So I sawed the fucker, and it shattered.

He's away for the weekend actually. Unless he finds the ripped booklet in the bin, I'm guessing he won't even notice the favour I just did him.

I'm sure he'd thank you for it later. :)

I like being thanked.

Laura, my mates and I, we had a barbie night where we chucked all our shit into this fire after we got done eating. CDs crack up pretty easily when you put it in a fire.

Just imagine... if all those Creed fans had a sudden epiphany about Jesu--I mean, Scott Stapp, and shattered their CDs in a murderous rage.

I used to work in a record store, and in one very bored moment , we tried different things to make a CD skip. You be amazed at the durability of them. Highlighters, pen, etc. It took a good deep cut with a razor to make it unplayable.

One time I tried to destroy a shitty cd for fun by rubbing it on a wicker chair. It took about 5 tries before a skip developed. So I cut it with a pair of scissors, that worked.
