and Juan Pierre is the worst CF in baseball. they gave this guy a 5 yr deal. absolutely the worst deal ever.

Baseball is a game of peaks and valleys. I guess this is the first real valley of the season, still top of the division which is all that matters.

Pierre has shit for an arm, but good range, I suppose it's a small tradeoff. He steals bases, and definetly fits in better as a #2 hitter than a leadoff guy. Another win tonight will give us a 1.5 game lead over the D-Backs.

Pierre cant field for shit. how many fly balls has be just plain dropped this past week. 3 at least. hes a terrible judge of fly balls, and we all know about his arm. And our GM signed him to such a huge deal to keep him from going to SF....but it would have been the best thing for us to let him go there.

I cant believe how many holes this team has right now. 3B is a mess, with Betemit proving to be nothing but a bum, LaRoche could basically trip into the job but hes playing like crap in AAA, Ethier looks like hes gonna have a sophmore slump all season in RF, and our ace pitcher is out until , well nobody knows exaclty.

and for the love of god, can someone, anyone, tell this team to stop swinging at the first pitch every single at bat?

Juan Pierre has been a disgrace, Furcal hasnt warmed up yet, Nomar hasnt done dick since the first week. and they are still in first place. if the offense can get going this team can run away with the west real fast
