I was just thinking about my vast array of PJ posters and how I've only shelled out ebay money for 2 of the lot that I have. Ten Club was a big help on this and some of my more prized posters have come from there at rock bottom prices. What posters or merch have you gotten from there that you would see going for monkey loads of money today...
Back in 1998 or 99 I bought a 1996 Portugal Ames poster on there for $8...When it came in, I had the poster tube on my bed....went to the bathroom and came back just in time to watch my g/f wrestling with a friend and fall on it. The tube buckled under the pressure and my first glimpse of the poster was a crinkled torn mess. Fuckers. That was maybe my 3rd poster that I owned...I'm a hell of a lot more careful these days. It may have little net value now, but I lined the rips up real welll and framed it and you can't even tell it was ever damaged. But I reiterate...fuckers. I went to buy another (before 1 per person) after still seeing it up there for like a week but just never actually purchased it. Boy do I regret that now....I wish I had 12 of them to trade!!

I've got quite a bit of PJ CD/Vinyl stuff....and I can honestly say that I didn't get a good deal out of anything. Nonetheless, I'll keep shoveling out the dough.

$20, but they were very clear that they were in 'as is' condition. Most of them just looked like they had been rolled up or had a little bent corner. But a 95 poster showing up for $20...that's a hell of a deal.
I wish I could have gotten the Showbox 04 poster with the 'dove' on it...i love that poster, but i don't really want to shell out $60-70 for it on ebay. It went up not that long ago and was gone in a hearbeat. My fiance would kill me if i started spending that much...and no, it's not the same one that sat on Portugal. I forgot to mention I yelled at her and threw her out of my room and she told me to 'lighten up, it's only a poster'. Her favorite band was 311...i hate those fuckers and their echoing effects.

I got a great deal on the "Place/Date" book (hardcover), but not through ten club. I got it for $5 at Barnes&Noble. Ten club is still selling it for $30.
