 Post subject: making downloaded video files playable on a regular dvd play

I have a few concert vids, downloaded tv shows, and stuff like that that i'd like to burn on a dvd and watch on my tv instead of my computer.

Any suggestions as to a good program to do that with? i currently only have dvd ripping software like dvd shrink and dvd decrypter

burning a video cd (VCD) should work on most dvd players . . ?

most but not all, thats okay though, i got a version of Nero 7 ultra edition which does everything i need it to do
