(pronounced like R Emmys)
It's that time of the year again, when all the awards shows are on and we realize just how big the gap between rich and poor is in this country. So, to make ourselves feel better, I am beginning what will hopefully become a tradition: The RMeeys.
Everyone can give out their own awards to whatever person, post, or thread they would like. They may give out awards for "Thread of the Year", "Poster of the Year", "Header Post of the Year", "Supporting (not header) Post of the Year", "Signature of the Year", "Mod of the Year", and "Event of the Year", as well as whatever crazy awards your twisted minds can come up with.
There will be an afterparty too, but that will be a seperate thread.

I'd like to suggest an additional category.
Thread Title of the Year: "I'm Sicker than Roseanne Naked" - Kilman

"Crossover of the Year" (awarded to those who post in both the Pearl Jam-related and not Pearl Jam-related forums): MikeF and EricD102
"Event of the Year": The demise and consequent rebirth of RM
"Thread of the Year: Tie between "Hot or Not" and "Hot Girls Thread"
"Mod of the Year": Nick (Green Habit)- he put together a phenomenal compilation of live Pearl Jam, and he laid down the law in every forum on the board. And I have yet to see a picture of him.

Event of the Year - April Fool's Joke.
It was funny, but I thought the year before's was better.

They swapped the links so when you typed in 'www.theskyiscrape.com' you went to 'www.giventowail.com' and vice versa.

Thread of the year: The first 8 pages of that one in Gen PJ where some guy comes out and claims to have been unfairly roughed up by venue security only to have like 200 witnesses to pop up and call bullshit on his story. I've been here since the start, and I've never enjoyed reading a thread so much.
