Who's excited for this? I know it's a little early. Apparently they are picking contestants now. The deadline for applications was somewhere around the end of April. I watch very few shows on TV and this is one that I cannot wait for every year. I only watched the first year of survivor, and I liked another reality show called the Mole, which they cancelled, but I have watched every season of this and loved every one. Lets hope for some really hot chicks who might actually get naked this time.

I've never really watched this but every time I see it when I'm flipping through channels it's four people in a hot tub.

Last season was my favorite for sure. Awesome. I don't know how they're going to top it but I'll still be watching this season. I love this show.

yea this is probably my favorite reality show. i wish it was on more times per week like in the UK. its a whole different experience.

When does this start up?

Apparently the UK version is superior, anyone watch that?

1. the UK version is better if you like 24/7 watching people lounging around and being stupid and occasionally doing something. they usually have absolute freakshows. you can even watch them sleeping all night on tv.

2. the US version is far superior if you actually like gameplay and strategy. on the UK one they can't even discuss who they're voting for so its a crapshoot, whereas the US one is almost solely about who they're voting for.

i prefer the US one but there's lots of things about the UK one thats better. for example its on every night, so if you have nothing better to do and you're into the show you can always fall back on it. the UK one is a national phenomena so it can actually be pretty interesting seeing how people react towards certain characters or events. if something controversial happens its the headline in the papers. the US one is generally ignored.

Well, what does everyone think about this years show? I would love to fly out there, break in and strangle Jen. The one thing different this year is that I normally already have a favorite by now, but I really don't yet. Also, I really think Danielle could be classified as anorexic. I can't believe she has to eat slop for another week, she is going to look scary by the end of this show.
