So I was thinking about this for a sports forum tourney seeing as how the NBA finals are nearing, and this would be a very simple one to run(seeing as how you'd only have to draft a starting 5, and maybe one bench player). Anyone interested?

1. The objective is to pick the best team possible using NBA players. The players may be active or retired.

2. The first five picks will be your starting five, unless you indicate otherwise. You may arrange your starting five to your own liking or to best suit the best players available. You can go standard(2G, 2 F, C), small ball(3G, 1F, C), giant(G, 3F, C), or however you want, it's totally up to you. You will also pick one extra player as your 6th man.

3. Snake style draft, round 1 is picked 1-16, round 2 is 16-1, etc. 12 hour draft limit, weekends this will be extended to 24 hours. Please PM me if you see your turn coming up soon, but you don't think you'll be on.

4. Depending on what the group decides, I may allow steals of some form.

It would only be because he went to school in Illinois.

We all know that I'd pick Ginobili first!

Followed by Tim Duncan and Tony Parker, I know I know.

I feel like we've had this conversation before (probably less than 24 hours ago).

Hell, I'll do it.

I figure I can fill my roster with at least 3 or 4 Tar Heels and still win.

Can you rig it, so I can get the No. 1 pick and MJ. 8)

But really, the person who gets MJ pretty much wins this thing.

How would you determine who won?

personal opinion, could rate the players on a scale from 1-10, certain players who are known to take over games. The game simulator could also work.

I have a feeling this is how the first round will go.

MJ, Bird, Magic, 13 centers.

just to get a better idea of rules in this thing, if i wanted to do it and see if it would be a winning team, then i coud pick 6 centers, or 6 guards or what ever i wanted?
