i discovered Haha sound a couple weeks ago (thanks to Bufallohead)

very good stuff

Ominous Cloud is an awesome song

Lunch Hour Pops and the closer Hawk are very impressive too

just get it

Tender Buttons was good, Haha Sound is great. I'm currently listening to the latter.

All I can say is that I own but do not terribly enjoy Work and Non-work. Aside from that, you can't go wrong. I've already said everything else that needs saying in other threads :D

I take that back. I think The Noise Made By People is actually a better album than Haha Sound in the long run. Though I liked the latter much more for a long time.

Dude, holy fuck, it's about time. One of my favorite indie pop albums. It's up there with Emperor Tomato Ketchup, Finally We Are Noone, etc. I think that Noise Made By People gets better than Haha Sound when you listen to it enough.

had no idea that the vocalist died earlier this year

thats sad

looks like the band is working on new material, she left plenty of vocals recorded

now THAT will be a sad album to hear
