Staying inside, passing blame etc. I've seen it. Pretty moving.

I thought it was average. I understand it was making fun of pretentious art films, but I thought there were too many cliches to make it an interesting take on those types of films. Some of the shots were cool though.

I take back when I said there were "too many cliches." The two things that stood out in my mind were his accent and the fact it was in black-and-white. Even for a satire/spoof, it gave me a feeling of "this has been done before." I think its really cool that you're making films, and I think you have some talent, just keep working on your craft. I really liked the profile shot of the guy with the images projected on his head.

Congrats, I liked it. It was better than most of the student films I've seen.

Here's a tip: shoot your own credits, don't use the shitty Final Cut fonts. Genericriffic.

a lot of the people complain about the accent and how it is clearly fake... and actually that's something me and the actor decided on. we decided that his accent was fake, the idea that he as an artist puts himself out in the open but protects himself with a shield of unmotivated complexity. the accent was part of his shield, hiding who he really was.

as for the black and white, its how i saw it in my head, and i didn't really have the resources to control the color of everything, so black and white took the burded off of the production which i shot this in 2 days with actors and the crew at most was me and one other person.

i'm glad you guys dug it (or parts of it, thanks for viewing)

This is really cool. I think I commented on this one before. I like the lighting, sound and cuts on this. It reminds me of some of Jim Jarmusch's films. I want to be closer to the "Artist" on the bed shot.
