I'm psyched for this match. Should be a classic. Federer could be considered the best player ever if he pulls this off today.
Sportsbook has Nadal as a 2.5 to 1 favorite. Kinda weird considering who he's playing. Enjoy!
i think nadal has won the french like 3 years in a row hasnt he?
2 in a row, never lost a match there. Looks like Federeris taking a bit of control now. If he starts getting his serve in i don't see how he'll lose. I think Federer wins it in 4 but the swings in this match have been insane so far

I'm watching now...bet Federer +185. I don't think he is winning this one, seems like Nadal is getting all the breaks today. (by breaks I mean close balls clipping the lines.)

I guess Sampras is still the best ever right now
'Now' being the operative word, obviously.

I watched the entire match and never, not for one second, had the impression that Federer could go on and win the match. Never. Well done, Rafa. I love you boy!
Also,
there should be more talk about how Justine Henin won her 4th Roland Garros in 5 years. 3rd in a row. Proud to be a Belgian!

Because he was able to win the French when? Laver all the way.
federer's only 25. he's just gonna get better
Nadal is 21. I can see Nadal being burnt out quicker than Federer since his playing style is so incredibly demanding for his body. Just look at the power. But still... like I said, today I never gave Federer half a chance during the match, not even when he won the second set.

But aren't you considered in your prime in tennis from about 22 to about 25-26? I can't imagine that Federer doesn't start to slow down and can't see him getting that much better with age past 25.

Yeah, but let's forget Nadal/Roland Garros for a second, is it possible at all for Federer to get any better than he is when he plays at his best? I mean... some of the games I saw him play were so close to perfection. It was frightening. That's why I'm extra happy that there's someone out there that can beat him in big games and keep Federer's hunger high to win more Grand slams and especially Roland Garros
