I need some other people to share my nerdiness with. Who here loved their console and what games are you favourite for it? I have a Top 10 games list I compiled knocking around somewhere...

I loved the Megadrive :o
I don't have a top 10 in mind right now, I'll just mention Landstalker and Gunstar Heroes

Is it a social stigma to say that you liked Shining Force?

Never had a Genesis. My friends did though. Would always play NBA Jam, and Sonic 2. And who can forget it was the only system that kept the blood in the Mortal Kombat games 8)

You know, I always preferred the sequel. Although the boss music (and the A-button bazooka police) always made the first one memorable 8)

I still have my Genesis. Like maybe once a year I'll hook it up and play Street Fighter II.

the dog rules!!!

Maximum Carnage is by far the best Spider game ever!

And Quackshot rules too, it really feels epic.

Shinobi, I loved it, although I think there was a second part, revenge of Shinobi, that I played more. Sonic is in my top whatever list of all times, part 2 is my favourite actually, it had a few nice adds to Sonic 1 but it wasn't all gimmicky.

I was addicted to marble madness for a while... imagine that concept today... controlling a marble through an acid green labyrinth....

Uhm... streets of rage 2, how many hours did I waste away on you....

I never really got into the Ecco stuff, at some point there would always be some stupid crystal that told me that I sucked too hard to get any further  didn't spend much time with that though.

I really loved the mega drive/ genesis for it's fighting games, but parted with it as I grew more into rpg's which has pretty much lasted up to today.
