my dad's dad's dad came from czechoslovakia. i cannot trace that part of my lineage anymore than that.
i can trace the lineage of my dad's mom's parents and ancestors back a very long time, back to charlemagne. that branch of the family tree spent some time in prussia, germany, france, and england before jumping over to massachusetts and finally settling the tioga region in pennsylvania.
my mom's mom's side of the family tree is very bare. all i know is that someone's mother came from ireland.
my mom's dad's side of the family tree is also pretty bare. i can't trace it back any further than pennsylvania.
aaaaand, i just found out that my free trial of ancestry.com ran out, so i doubt i'll be finding out anymore about my family ancestry for a long while. /:
