i can't believe this team doesn't have a thread.

snell, gorzelanny, bay, marte's pitching well -- maybe capps'll be special? ... i smell playoffs in a few years.

i'm thinking the team is gonna need to get more than 400 people out to some of the weeknight games before they start winning anything, unless they've got some real special talent scouts.

Freddy Guzman is a good young player. Laroche needs to get it going.

This team is terrible, but at least they have pitching to build on. Time to start spending $ on some bats.

laroche was supposed to be a nice lefthanded power bat in the lineup but so far, not good. i still think he'll get going but i think his new park is less homer friendly than his old one. but yes, they do need a bat.
