I'm kinda scared of Randy Moss but besides that i'm pretty confident in back to back titles. Home field is gonna be the key again. They get home field you can throw the 2nd banner up there.

didnt they lose alot of players in the off season, did they recover at all the positions?
they lost Rhodes and some D-Backs and Cato June. All "plug-in" players as far as i'm concerned. Rhodes will be a huge bust with the Raiders and June won't be heard about for the rest of his career. Nick Harper was an overrated corner and couldn't even run by Ben Rothlesberger. Basically they can fill all the wholes with 2nd string guys and guys from the draft and won't miss a beat. Every year the Colts lose their best middle linebacker and it doesn't matter. Now that Peyton got over the hump it's gonna be easy sailing. Throw in Gonzales as a 3rd receiver and Addai being the everydown back and you got the best offense in the league once again. Dallas Clark, Reggie Wayne, Marvin, Addai, Peyton.....it's deadly!

its incredibly tough to win 2 in a row, let alone even make the playoffs after a SB win. every game will be the other teams SB, trying to knock off the champs. and some players (namely everyone on the 2000 rams D lucky me) get a little full of themselves and dont play up to the level they did during the SB run.
if anything Id say its more likely that NEXT year would be the better shot.

the afc is just so stacked next year its gonna be really tough. right now id have to put my money on the patriots. home field will be a big deal. but between denver, san diego and new england, the colts have their work cut out for them.

I don't like their chances, teams that had struggled for a while to get over the hump usually look a little lost the next year.

so am i to believe that last year's playoffs was the turning point and that the 16 games prior were merely an illusion?
Their run defense was outstanding in the playoffs, especially in 2nd halves of games. If anything, the defense carried them most of the playoffs and kept them in games they should have lost.
