Oh, I think it's cool...I just don't understand what a lot of it means. Like you said, if those diagrams are part of the formula for how they make such awesome music, then God bless it all.

seriously, ed needs his own touring guitar tech?....easiest job ever.....
I think he can do, just rather pay someone to do it for him. Like going to steak n shake at 4 in the morning. You could easily make a grilled cheese on your own at home, but you would rather pay the 2 bucks and have a mexican do it.

and all i wanted to know is what drum sticks Matt uses.
How did this thread come up on your search then? Matt uses Vic Firth sticks. Smartass.
I didn't search, i came across this through browsing. I do think it's kinda cool, excuse me for not mentioning that. I just found it funny how there isn't one for Matt just because he's the drummer. More likely to be because it's as of '98, though. Thanks for sharing

Can someone please explain to me what a banana fruit shaker is? Cuz it sounds awfully dirty.
tambourines?
It was driving me nuts so I finally had to look it up. Apparently they're just what they sound like. Banana shaped shakers. They look like kiddie toys. When the hell has Ed EVER played one of these?
A 9-pack of juicy and delicious percussion! Remo Assorted Fruit Shakers Features:
Tough plastic construction Filled with nontoxic beads Sound great Available in a variety of popular types and sizes, Remo Fruit Shakers are tough plastic filled with nontoxic beads (but they're not intended to be used as toys by children under 6). Includes large apple, avocado, banana, lemon, orange, pear, small apple, plum, and small pear. Great fun musically and visually!

Nowdays Jeff gear is more simple than that.
