An absolute joy from start to finish. The animation is beautiful, the nuance and believability of character is wonderful, and it's one of the most satisfying endings I've seen in awhile. Brad Bird is 3 for 3 so far.

Brad Bird and Patton Oswalt were on Terry Gross's show yesterday afternoon, and I was laughing my ass off driving down the street. I'm looking forward to this one.

Same here. I haven't watched a computer-animated movie in a theater since The Incredibles, which kicked loads of ass.

I know. It's what gives me hope that a movie about a rat that wants to be a chef could actually be really good.

so far this has gotten rave reviews from the critics from what i can tell - this should be a nice movie to hold me over 'til the new Harry Potter movie is released

I saw this last night, and even though I felt kinda silly as we were probably the only two college kids in the theatre, it was a really entertaining movie. The visuals were great: Paris looked so real.

I just saw this with my girlfriend's family. I liked it quite a bit. Just like any Pixar movie there was some good themes and plenty of great animation.

Pixar has outdone themselves again. I was really impressed with the entire thing. O'Toole is a great bonus as well.

I went to see it last weekend with my 4 year old son. I think I enjoyed it more than he did.

Wall-e is more ambitious and better. But Ratatouille has a charm that makes it more watchable.

I just had an interesting conversation about this movie with a real foodie last week. There was a GREAT NPR interview, I think it was Fresh Air with Terry Gross, you should seek it out on the internet, with Brad Bird and Patton Oswalt for almost the full hour, and it was hilarious, and really informative about the food, and about both of them being foodies, and it was terrific, find it, listen. If you like this movie, you will enjoy.
