Does anyone know if there's an add on which will check spelling in the same way as Firefox and Word do? (red line under the mis-spelt word)

I have a spell check that pops up after I hit send but it doesn't work.

Are you using Thunderbird 2? I don't use Thunderbird, but I thought its spell checker was the same one used in Firefox 2.

Cool. It looks like Thunderbird 3.0 may be a little better in the spell checkin' department when it's released: http://mozillalinks.org/wp/2007/07/thun ... ay-follow/
