Roddy has one of the best voices around.

yeh its a very good first solo album, i much prefer it to warnings/promises... the songs sound great live as well.

the rumour is the next idlewild album is gonna be a little rockier

this is definitely one of my favs so far this year

Is everyone aware he's currently recording a second solo record for summer?

yeh saw a poster for it the other day,. with 2 other guys, can't remember their names.. looking forward to it though.

Yeah I don't think there'll be any John McCusker or Rod from Idlewild on it, but I still reckon it'll be good.

* NEWS * Roddy is now recording his new LP with Kris Drever and John McCusker. It will be finished in January 2008 and will be released on NAVIGATOR RECORDS in May 2008. a full UK tour and UK festival apearances will happen in August/September 2008.
