I mean, what is the point of these awkward fuckers. You have to split the video from the audio and convert the whole she-bang into another file and then transcode it to DVD. What the fuck is wrong with the good old AVI or RAR file? Fuckin Russians.

MKV files are actually pretty good, just not that user friendly. There's a Matroska codec pack out there that pretty much covers every major video file out there.
