I came out a long time ago--when it was still uncool to come out as an LBC hater. (spit, spit!) I can't believe Ed wasn't more careful with this song--and that no band member that heard it long before us didn't suggest a change or two. What boat has reins???? Good intentions, but the road to hell is paved with them. God, is this song annoying! I cannot listen to it.

yup. But it is a prominent enough lyric that it really detracts from the song, and it was only 4 stars at best, so it can't afford moments like that

LBC is the dictionary definition of an average pearl jam song

LBC sounded kind of refreshing for PJ when I first listened to Riot Act - if only for the sound of an organ. It builds nicely too.

Now Ghost, there's an average song.

comparing ghost to lbc is like comparing like comparing good charoltte to pearl jam. ghost may be the single worst pj song ever. lbc is one of their best.

terrible fucking song. it completely takes the piss out of any show when they play it. This is (along with Crazy Mary) my piss break song. Holy crap am i ever sick of hearing it.
