I've beat Ocarina of Time more times than you can count, and every fucking time i play it i avoid going to the Water Temple. It is such a goddamed pain in the fucking ass!! Maybe i should pull out my old stratagy guide.

you may consider a title for your thread that says what game you're referring to.

and i agree with you. i went straight for gamefaqs.com on that level

ahhhhh....Zelda...

Majora's Mask sucked, nothing will touch Ocarina.

The Bolero of Fire is the best song in any video game ever, the cutscene where you learn it and you're going back and forth with that strange looking guy is amazing. Also, the song that makes it rain is cool too.

Water Temple is fucking difficult, is that the one where you have to fight Shadow Link?

Amazing game.

It was too short. I think it doesn't come close to Ocarina.

dude, the water level is humanly impossible to beat, It cannot be done without the strategy guide, anyone that said they beat it without the guide is a goddamn liar.

Dark Link made it all worth it, though. I loved going up against him sword to sword (only pussies use the hammer against him).

That's the mini-boss. I'm talking about the eyeball that you pulled out of the water with the hookshot, I forget it's name. All those bosses were cool as hell. I thought the Fire Temple's boss (the red dragon) was the hardest.

Anyways, I just finished beating the Minish Cap for GBA. GREAT game, even though it's a tad bit short. It's like a great sequel to Zelda 3, but extremely hard towards the end. You get all these cool new items and interesting tactics to beat bosses. It's soo cute and funny, too.

The first time i played it i used the stratagy guide, but every time after that i've done it on my own. I started playing it again about a week ago and flew through everyting and completed every little trading scheme and whatnot. Now there is nothing left for me to do except suck it up and figure out this fucking level again.

Has anyone else seen the trailer for Zelda 2005 that they played at the 04 E3? If not, you can download it at http://www.zeldalegends.net/gallery/thu ... ?album=239 It seriously has the best graphics i've ever seen in any video game.

I fear the water temple!!! :x
I think I've finisished Ocarina 8 times...and every time the Water Temple was a nightmare. Ocarina of Time is perfect but I prefer Majora (I love its dark atmosphere and because its less epich and more personal adventure) and Wind Waker has the best final boss ever

i did do it without a strategy guide, but it took me like 2 weeks and several "screw this i quit" tantrums before i finished it. and i'll never forget the moment i did because it was a tremendous occasion in my then very young middle school life.
