i just have to give mad props to this show and especially Lucille Ball. there never was or has been since, a female that comes anywhere near her comedic abilities and physical comedy. just got the box set and the shit still stands the test of time :P

"The actor who played Lucy on I Love Lucy was suspected of dabbling in witchcraft during the peak of popularity of the show. This dabbling eventually manifested itself as a full blown occult preoccupation. After the years of I Love Lucy the actress known as Lucille Ball developed a drinking habit as a crutch to her occult worship (included physical manifestations of harm). Lucille Ball was eventually convicted of being a witch and burned."

Wow that is insane.

If anyone besides you liked it, it would be called We Love Lucy, instead of the singular I.

Some people need their humor to be cool or ironic. Or "adult." Fuck all that. Lucy was golden.
