WOW. Love that guitar at the end. I didn't even realize they did an Its Ok tag last tour.

I am listening to a stream of this show on and it is really fantastic. I don't remember people hyping this show too much last summer but this is really a solid performance IMO.

It was a great show IMO, and not just coz I was there, the premiere of Education and the cover of Thin Lizzy's Boys made it really special :)

That tag in Dublin was amazing. That and the version of 'Black' with the Ed hands moving under the red lights. And 'Education'. And the hilarious 'The Boys Are Back...' Still isn't one of my favourite shows though.

the end of 'Black' was amazing! wouldnt be one of my favourite songs but just the way the crowd kept it going, he was well moved, i have a little video of that somewhere, his arms above his head just listening to us singing, clickin his fingers along...brilliant.

I was reading through the Dublin thread the other day, brings back memories, it's almost a year since that memorable day!

I know, Ed's face when they played the opening chords was just priceless, like he thought it was the funniest thing in the world :D

Being not Irish, it took me a while to recognize the song, but everybody around me was singing along! That was weird :). And the Dublin It's Okay was beautiful indeed! I also liked MITS a lot, even though I was pretty far to the back by then so the people around me did not know it :( .
My own stupid fault... should not have gone to the venue so late.

groetjes,
Mirella :)

Yeah, I didn't recognize it at first either. But everybody around me started cheering and singing and screaming as soon as they hit the first chord. Was really great. I mean, they play a Chicago song in Chicago and everyone goes nuts. They play a Dublin song in Dublin, and most don't even care, except those who were there. Aaaaah, great memory, great great memory. The whole trip really. What a fantastic day we had there.

I still can't believe I was sat in Gogarty's on my own drinkning Guinness and you were sat on the table near enough next to me and I didn't recognise you!
