Just finished a mini Fulci marathon (The Beyond, Zombi, House by the Cemetery). Terrible performances (even by low budget horror standards). Incoherant plotlines involving little-to-no logic. Long, drawn out extreme closeups of dodgy (to say the least) speacial effects. Etc, etc. How could anyone not love this guy?

Zombi is probably my favorite of his. The shark scene is one for the ages.
And does anyone do a better eyeball gag than this guy? It's amazing to me how many folks still haven't seen of his films.

One of his that gets no attention, even from fans, is Don't Torture a Duckling. Very unique giallo with a storyline that is actually engaging, which is even more amazing conisidering it's coming from Fulci. The title obviously turns people right off, but I'd say it's in my top 3 Fulci movies.

I actually haven't seen this one, always heard of it though. Giallos are always good though, I'll have to Netflix it.

I've said it in other threads. Zombi is in my top 10 of all time.
Zombie vs. Shark Eyeball vs. Splinter Maggots and millipedes sliding off the dead as they rise.
Easily best Zombie movie ever.
I love The Beyond aswell (or Seventh Seal or Seventh Gate to Hell or whatever the many international titles are). It's kampy Italian gore but it is still great.
