2. Regarding the Vic...I downloaded a Schoeps copy of this tape and I have to say I was pretty disappointed. I don't mean to rag on the taper because I appreciate the work, and without mentioning names, this is a taper who almost always comes back with GREAT sounding stuff, and because of his rig, high quality is almost expected. However, the Vic show is pretty muddy in the mids and lacking good low end. My question is one, is it a case of the venue having bad sound that night, and two, did anybody else tape this show? I have someone in mind who I know was there but I figure it's just easier to gather any information that's out there...

Yes, JasonA posted a sample on the trading forum of another source of the Vic show that will surface at some point.

The taper with JasonA did a few canadian shows as well as some 06' shows that all turned out great. You will be happy im sure with this source

Also, any idea on lolla matrix? I'd do it but I'm not good at that type of thing...I'm better with cleaning up old hissy analog tapes.

I still have to check the lolla aud tapes, sometimes some equalising works magic expecialy on old tapes matrixing is not even needed.
